The Sandy Duck b&b: inviting welcome

L'atmosfera raffinata, ma semplice e rilassata allo stesso tempo, del Sandy Duck, un bed and breakfast nella cittadina di Falmouth, in Cornovaglia, ha subito attirato la mia attenzione.
Scorrendo le pagine della rivista inglese 91 Magazine {adorabile} mi sono soffermata sull'ambientazione di un angolo di questo b&b: parete blu scura, arredi vintage affianco a pezzi moderni, colori polverosi, come piacciono a me.

Per la verità si tratta di un Boutique b&b, rinnovato e riaperto nella primavera di quest'anno, nel quale le sette stanze disponibili e gli spazi comuni sono stati disegnati per unire i caratteri del design scandinavo, danese in particolare, con le caratteristiche finiture di un elegante edificio storico.

Il tocco glam con le lampade essenziali in metallo dorato è attualissimo ma di fatto riscopre un'eredità del passato, che è tornata ad essere un trend degli ultimi anni. Ricercato e discreto sono le parole chiave del design contemporaneo. Come non essere d'accordo?

Anne Black: eleganza handmade {AB: handmade grace}

Oggi sono emozionata perché la collaborazione di cui vi parlerò è molto prestigiosa per me.
Ho ammirato i prodotti di Anne Black quando mi trovavo a Copenhagen per l'#ikeabloggertour della scorsa estate. Non avrei mai immaginato che da lì a pochi mesi avrei realizzato questo post per presentarvi alcune novità della collezione primaverile di questo strepitoso marchio del design nordico, caratterizzato da linee semplici e raffinate, da colori tenui e armoniosi ma soprattutto dalla cura dei dettagli.

Today I'm excited because the collaboration I speak about is very important to me.
I admired the products of Anne Black when I was in Copenhagen for the #ikeabloggertour last summer. I never imagined that after a few months I would have written this post to introduce you to some of the new spring collection of this great brand of Nordic design, characterized by simple and elegant shapes, soft and harmonious colors but especially by the attention to detail.

Anne Black è una designer danese che realizza oggetti per la casa e gioielli in porcellana fatti a mano. Il suo design è pura poesia senza tempo, un richiamo alle sfumature soft della natura e a forme essenziali che vogliono portare in casa un pizzico di lusso per tutti i giorni.    
Sono completamente affascinata e sostenitrice dell'home decor capace di impreziosire i nostri gesti quotidiani, come ad esempio il momento della colazione o della cena in famiglia, e rendere unici gli angoli di casa che amiamo di più. Gli oggetti che Anne e il suo staff realizzano con grande maestria hanno la capacità di farlo.
E così è successo anche nella Mini Casa. Come avete visto dagli ultimi post la tendenza green ha preso pieno possesso in casa mia e i vasi sospesi che mi ha inviato Anne non potevano arrivare in un momento migliore! Fanno parte della nuova collezione Grow, sono realizzati in finissima porcellana e possono essere appesi, tramite stringhe di cuoio, al soffitto o a diversi supporti a vostra scelta.
Io li ho utilizzati per caratterizzare l'angolo più luminoso del mio living, vicino alla finestra, utilizzando la mensola che corre sopra il divano come base di aggancio.

Anne Black is a Danish designer who creates objects for the home and jewelry in fine handmade porcelain. Her design is pure timeless poetry, a reminder of the soft shades of nature and essential shapes that bring home a touch of everyday luxury. I am completely fascinated and a supporter of home decor that can enrich our daily actions, such as the time of breakfast or dinner in the family, and make unique corners of home we love the most. Objects that Anne and her staff realized with great skill have the ability to do it.
And so it happened in my Tiny Home. As you have seen in the last posts of the blog, the green trend has taken full possession of my home and the hanging pots that Anne sent me could not come at a better time! They are part of the new collection called Grow, are made of fine porcelain and can be hung, using strings of leather, the ceiling or other supports of your choice. I have them used to characterize the brightest corner of my living room, near the window, using the shelf that runs above the sofa as hooking base.

L'effetto è a dir poco strepitoso. I colori naturali e terrosi dei vasi in contrasto con il verde vivo delle piccole piante hanno conferito immediatamente una nota raffinata e ricercata al mio angolo verde.

The result is extremely amazing. The natural and earthy colors of the pots in contrast with the bright green of the small plants, have immediately given a sophisticated and refined accent to my green corner.

Oltre ai vasi della linea Grow, Anne mi ha inviato anche il vaso in grigio della collezione Bloom, che trovo perfetto in combinazione con gli altri piccoli vasi dal sapore nordico che ho raggruppato sulla mensola bianca.
